We have discovered yet another important issue with which President Sham WOW (Walks on Water) claims to be “unfamiliar,” Section 102 of the “health care (rationing) reform” bill he’s trying to foist on us. That is the section that end private health insurance as we know it and herd everyone into a government plan with the efficiency of FEMA and the compassion of the IRS. In B. Hussein’s world, compassion and empathy have their place, of course. that would be in making law from the bench, when a liberal judge rips the blindfold off Lady Justice and replaces it with grievance googles allowing her to tip the scales in favor of favored mascot groups. When it comes to medicine, though, doctors can’t make treatment decisions based on individual evaluations of things like a person’s heart or spirit. Instead, they need to comply with the requirements of “comparative efficiency.”
Recall the previous list of revelations that stunned this brilliant former “constitutional law professor” (actually a part-time lecturer, but what’s a little resume inflation when a man-god is describing himself?):
Jeremiah Wright’s lunatic racist, anti-American beliefs, despite spending 20 years listening to his raving
Traitor Bill Ayers never-ending commitment and on-going to the values the led him to commit terrorism against our country
The felonious activities of his former client/patron/mansion fairy Tony Rezko, despite a relationship spanning more than a decade and the fact that he could not have purchased his house without assistance from Mr. Rezko
Apparently, this bill is not the health care bill he knew and the specifics are above his pay grade. I guess now I can understand why my congressman and Mark Kirk (R-RINO) don’t read any of this stuff before voting for it. Why should they? They trust the Pied Piper like the rest of the rats.
Perhaps the man-god will get a question about this provision in his upcoming lie fest, scheduled for 7 pm this evening, allowing him to repeat his second biggest lie (here’s the first biggest), the mantra that “if you like your insurance and like your doctor, you can keep them. Period. End of story.” The way he does his patented two-step, he should go on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Never forget that all that matters is the ultimate result, taking over every aspect of our lives and making everyone beholden to the ruling elite, and your health care is the key.
I would love to hear the questions you’d like to see the Dear Reader asked tonight, so please post them below. Here are a few of mine:
You claim that the objective of the bill is to reduce costs, yet last Thursday the Director of the Congressional Budget Office said that none of the bills he has seen would reduce health care costs.
Is Mr. Elmendorf wrong? If so, what is he missing?
You have repeatedly cited the Mayo clinic as a model for excellent health care at reduced cost. Yet this is what the Mayo Clinic said about the health care reform bill that you and the democrats in Congress are promoting:
Do you think it’s disingenuous to use the Mayo Clinic to promote a bill that they don’t support?
You admitted that you are unfamiliar with the bill. Who wrote it, and can we meet that person so we can ask him or her our questions?
Will you insist that any government health care plan pay for abortion?
Will you veto any plan that requires covering illegal aliens? If not, why do you believe that U.S. taxpayers should provide health care to those in violation of U.S. law?
Speaking of illegal aliens, I’d also like to know how, given the inevitable reduction in the number of primary care physicians that will come from lower incomes and their continuing risk of lawsuits, we’ll be able to add 40 or 50 million new patients without increasing wait times to see a doctor. Perhaps he plans to perform the medical equivalent of the miracle of the loaves and fishes.
I plan to live blog the lie fest tonight. perhaps in a chat room. If you’re up for that, please comment below, or drop me a note at teri@detoxaliberal.com. One thing I’m hoping to see tonight is another peek behind the Cool Dude mask to see the real Barack, the thin-skinned, in over his head, celebutard narcissist who does not suffer being asked challenging questions, or being told “no.” Recall the last time the mask slipped, when he was asked whether he broke his silence about the brutal repression of protestors in Iraq after being shamed into it by a speech from Sen. John McCain. He snapped “What do you think?” I think you’re cute when you’re mad, Sham WOW.
