Let Me Guess: It's Not the Van Jones I Knew

One of the most hilarious memes circulated among the clueless clownish newsreaders on ABS, NBS and CBS (BS, as in “Barry Soetoro”), currently in full head scratch mode, trying to figure out why their guy is having such a tough time accomplishing his mission of “remaking” America. Let me explain it you, and, being cognizant of your obvious intellectual limitations, I’ll speak slowly.

B. Hussein Obama was elected in a year when the democrat would have had to rape his mom on a pile of dead puppies, which he personally shot on live tv, to not be successful. The incumbent was a two-termer of the opposite party who had presided over an increasingly unpopular war. Concerns about the scheming Islamic fanatics who murdered 3000 Americans on 9/11 had faded into oblivion, and the economy appeared to be sinking. Couple those things with the fact that, as previously noted, the Obama campaign managed to make the election about personality, not ideas. In the latter, conservative ideas win every time. In the former, particularly when it’s the grumpy old man with no commitment to any particular ideology v. the super cool, mixed-race hipster, concealing his decades-long commitment to radical beliefs at war with the values of most Americans behind a smiling demeanor, liberals prevail.

If you really want to split your sides laughing, tune in when they begin to speculate that the reason He Who Used to Walk on Water (but who is now like some of those mortgages that Barney Frank helped facilitate--underwater), is encountering a teensy weensy bit of opposition to his plan to destroy our health care system. The reason--get ready, and please swallow any liquid that you may have in your mouth, lest you spew it all of yourself--they say, is that “Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have pulled him to the left.” Oh, of course! This guy, who hung out with Billy Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, and who admits being influenced by an admitted communist as a youngster and choosing to hang out with Marxists in college, he needed to be coaxed over to the Left. I want some of what they’re smoking.

Speaking of the passel of pinkos surrounding B. Hussein, by now, unless you get your news from one of the afore-mentioned BS networks, you know about Van Jones, the self-avowed Marxist, defender of cop killer Abu Mamia Jamal, and believer that the Bush administration was behind 9/11, who our Dear Leader put in charge of “green jobs.” That’s a perfect gig for a guy who has openly vowed to use the environmental movement to bring on a socialist revolution.

Some had speculated that Mr. Jones would be canned by now, but so far from the adminstration--crickets. Does Van Jones have something on Barack Obama or his Mrs.? Time will tell.

Dr. Obama's Misdiagnosis

Now that B. Hussein Obama’s preferred methods of getting his way by eliminating opposition, such as intimidation, legal razzle dazzle or subterfuge, have failed to pull his planned summer fast one on the 80% of Americans who are pleased with their health care and reasonably satisfied with their medical insurance (yes, those are two different things), it’s time for Plan B. Many people panic when things don’t go as planned, especially narcissistic, pompous, self-important elitists unaccustomed to suffering the slightest ripple of disagreement and who have practically no accomplishments, and an inexplicable belief in their own entitlement. At these times, they fall back on their tried and true play books. In the case of He Who Walks on Water, that playbook, closely based on Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals, has only two threadbare entries: (1) demonize the opposition (see # 11, “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”) and (2) hypnotize the rubes with “soaring rhetoric.” I have no doubt but that Obama’s apparatchiks, both in and out of the LSM (Lame Stream Media), are busily combing through Sarah Palin’s trash can, and reading decades’ old master’s theses, looking for the smoking gun that will silence that nagging concern you have when you hear the Community Organizer in Chief say seemingly inconsistent things like “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,” even though “our health care system is unsustainable.” In the meantime, they’ll fall back on the speechifying. On Wednesday, September 9, he will address a joint session of Congress. Note to B. Hussein: in this case, “joint” does not refer to that reefer you talked about smoking in that insipid collection of half-truths you (or Bill Ayers) wrote.

Everybody knows that Barack Hussein Obama possesses a preternatural intelligence, and if you aren’t convinced, just ask yourself “Is there any better test of intelligence than the ability to read someone else’s words from a TelePrompTer?” You see. Obvious, isn’t it? Bitter clinger that I am, despite this compelling evidence, I am skeptical of the man-god’s towering mental capacity, but for the sake of argument, let’s assume it is genuine. Still, there’s something missing. What could it be? Oh, I know. Common sense! I am reminded of Woody Allen’s profound insight that intellectuals can be absolutely brilliant and have no idea what’s going on. If Barry, David Axelrod and Rahm “Human Q-Tip” Emanuel think that what ails their dropping poll numbers can be fixed by rolling out their jug-eared puppet with his smarmy used car salesman routine, delivering another cliché-heavy, tedious, predictable heap of Orwellian double talk, they are more clueless than that parole officers, sheriff deputies and other government agents “supervising” Phillip Garrido.

Guys, here’s your problem. It’s not a “message” problem. It’s a substance problem. The cure isn’t another borefest. It’s to face reality. It’s not the pretty label on the can. It’s not the smooth-talking celebrity spokesmodel. The dogs won’t eat the food.

It’s a bit ironic that Dr. Obama’s misdiagnosis could result in the death of decades-long dream of eliminating once and for all the unfairness of the American health care system in this “mean” country. How dare do those who work hard and pay scads of taxes have the effrontery to think that they should be able to see their doctors sooner than the targets of their vicious oppression, including illegal aliens, race-obsessed gimme groups, deadbeats and all the rest of “the Man’s” long-suffering victims? B. Hussein and friends want “social justice” at last! The afore-mentioned irony is best illustrated by this story, demonstrating the results of misdiagnosis under the system that President Sham WOW (Walks on Water) would like to impose on us. From UK Telegraph:

In a letter to The Daily Telegraph, a group of experts who care for the terminally ill claim that some patients are being wrongly judged as close to death. Under NHS guidance introduced across England to help doctors and medical staff deal with dying patients, they can then have fluid and drugs withdrawn and many are put on continuous sedation until they pass away. But this approach can also mask the signs that their condition is improving, the experts warn.Under the guidelines the decision to diagnose that a patient is close to death is made by the entire medical team treating them, including a senior doctor. They look for signs that a patient is approaching their final hours, which can include if patients have lost consciousness or whether they are having difficulty swallowing medication. However, doctors warn that these signs can point to other medical problems.Patients can become semi-conscious and confused as a side effect of pain-killing drugs such as morphine if they are also dehydrated, for instance. When a decision has been made to place a patient on the pathway doctors are then recommended to consider removing medication or invasive procedures, such as intravenous drips, which are no longer of benefit. If a patient is judged to still be able to eat or drink food and water will still be offered to them, as this is considered nursing care rather than medical intervention. Dr Hargreaves said that this depended, however, on constant assessment of a patient’s condition. He added that some patients were being “wrongly” put on the pathway, which created a “self-fulfilling prophecy” that they would die.

He said: “I have been practising palliative medicine for more than 20 years and I am getting more concerned about this “death pathway” that is coming in.It is supposed to let people die with dignity but it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.Patients who are allowed to become dehydrated and then become confused can be wrongly put on this pathway.”

This next excursion into deceit and obfuscation should be interesting. Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that these weasel politicians don’t see any problem using “savings” and “government” in the same sentence? Ditto “government” and “competition.” You’ve got admit one thing: liberals are like The Three Stooges, idiotic, but fun to watch.
